Proverbs 31:8 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.
Psalm 139:13-16, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Life.......Can You Understand the Treasure?
We are born, we grow older, and then we reach the point of being an elder person who would have to wonder.....does anyone care about me? Whether it is the unborn, or the one who was born of long ago, we are forgetting the value of both. The value of wisdom and experience from those who are older and can teach the younger ones many things if they would only make time to listen. Is it a just and honorable motive for the children of these elder people to come in and then dictate what they need to do when they are still of sound mind and body, or pawn them off on society? Forgetting something once in a while or getting confused.......is that a reason to think that after many years of caring for themselves that they would need to be moved to an institution or facility? Don't we all forget or get confused sometimes???? Don't get me wrong there are some situations that for the safety of that elder person and their health status that they need a facility that can help and offer care or perhaps have a loved one stay with them for assistance. My point is that it seems as if we do not value the hidden treasures in these gems of a people and glean off of their trials. If we do not have the unborn to be birthed into this world we are losing generations of elderly that can tell of trials, history, atrocities that have been overcome, victories, survival methods, and God's testimonies of faithfulness during them all. Value the elderly, consider yourself blessed and honored to be able to benefit from all they have. They have value and purpose!
